Hwy 17 - Worthington Bay Road , Schreiber, ON, P0T 2S0

The property consists of 3 contiguous patented mining claims (TB3841, TB3869 and TB3870) covering 118.7 acres with surface and mining rights only 3km from the town of Schreiber. Worthington Creek, a beautiful trout stream crosses through the central claim. There are a series of waterfalls where the creek passes through the property and would make an excellent site for micro-hydro. Much of the property is covered in nice sandy soil.
The property can be accessed from the Worthington Bay Road that is maintained up to the Hydro One Power Transmission line. An access road into the property was cleaned out 2 years ago as far as Worthington Creek and there some site clearing done. An ATV trail continues much farther to the south onto crown land.
All three claims are well treed with large white spruce, poplar and birch.
The claims were originally worked back in the early 1920`s for gold with a shaft put down to a depth of 77.7 metres on a quartz vein on the side of a large granite hill . There was approximately 160 metres of lateral development. The shaft is now water filled. The mine is accessible by a 4-wheel drive trail from the main access road providing access to the waste rock pile that can be used for civil works.
